Like many college mates, I did not think that dating
a guy was cool. Personal friendship was never my cup of tea. Casual dating was
common even twenty years back.

Going back to my graduation days, I would always
stay away from dating stuff. Though I always had a thing for intelligent type,
full of grey matter brainy guys. They were like Einstein .The regular normal
boys never made in my crush list. #Ideal Companion

Around a year back, during a small reunion, I met one
of my collegemate. He was very thin and not so stud type during college days. I never made friends with him, though we
studied almost 4 years together. Well, this time around he had matured .He was
working with top MNC and was married .I chatted much freely with him. While
conversing I found out that he was such a brilliant individual. He spoke highly
of his wife. His tone and manner displayed his respect for his spouse.I was
simply amazed by his attitude. What perfect husband he made and how perfect
relation he shared with his wife. During college times nobody could predict
that he could be such a wonderful husband. I had only the intellect as a
measure to perfect guy.

Now that I am myself in my later thirties, I have gradually
realized neither the looks or intellect or a big job or bank balance make an
ideal man. Whether you are into arranged or love marriage, spending each day
with the person after many years make you realize, that compromises make
relationships work. However perfect relationships may seem from periphery,
there will always be cracks as you take a deeper look.

others interest .Mutual support even when other is not asking make the
foundation of solid relationship. The little
undivided attention for your spouse –like listening to the maid issues,
or diet issues or more important ones
like in-laws issue ,or children problems. Just simply listening sometimes calms
a home maker. She is not looking for miracles but a simple advice or suggestion
that can help her solve everyday hurdles.

efforts be sincere and your feelings be completely transparent. If not perfect,
but a beautiful relationship will lead to joyful and contented life.
