Mita went for strict evening walks. She had put on weight
in her mid thirties. Regular walks with her friends rejuvenated her. She had
about four friends with whom she had good gossip sessions. They discussed
almost everything under the sun. Mita liked talking her heart out. Once she
liked somebody, she would talk freely, without filtering any information in her
daily routine. She never thought twice before speaking. If she bought a sewing
machine, she would talk about it, how she is learning to use it; she also
talked about her day’s food menu. What did she buy from market?

comfortable with her friends; she shared her health concerns, her fights with
her husband, and her arguments with mother in law. At the same time she was
always eager to listen to her friends difficulties, would walk an extra mile,

save few bucks, her friends would come at any odd hour .Mita did not know what

Mita had few thousands to spare to run her home expenses. One of the friends
called on a Sunday evening saying she needed few hundreds to pay to somebody.
As on Sunday banks are not functional and ATM’s out of cash, Mita readily
agreed to help her friend and paid her .Even after few weeks, Mita’s friend showed
no interest in returning her money. With lot of thinking Mita had asked her
money back. To his dismay her friend did not pay back the whole sum. This
friend showed no signs of thanks, but on the other hand made thousand excuses.

judge people; she did not understand that why people took liberty with her.

he learns to control emotions. You remain tongue tied and you start to use
caution while conversing. Now Mita is hard and stubborn girl, she censors most of
her conversations, gives plastic smile to her friends. Goes for evening walks alone.
She changed her ways, changed her thoughts and hence her behavior, but still
her heart rules over her mind. Yes she is guilty of being kind hearted and
generous .Yet she learns, she imbibes and she matures…
